Feil Teater is a theater company. Or perhaps more of a collective. Or a community. Or, the label isn't that important.
We are Feil Teater.
Feil Teater produces innovative and inclusive theatre for all parts of the population. The performances are based on a wide range of themes, but common to all of them is that they have a light and playful theatrical expression that communicates directly with the audience, and that captivates those who usually do not seek out the theatre. We strive to offer theatre experiences that everyone can afford, and that seek out people where they live – often in places where there is no widespread theatre offering previously. Many of our performances are therefore played in untraditional places, such as empty warehouses, backyards, gardens and apartments. At the same time, we collaborate closely with other cultural actors and theatre institutions across the country. Feil Teater annually performs approx. 300 shows for over 25,000 spectators.
