Feil Teater is a theater company. Or perhaps more of a collective. Or a community. Or, the designation isn't so important.
We are Feil Teater.
Feil Teater produces innovative and inclusive theater for all segments of the population. The performances explore a wide range of themes, but common to all of them is a light and playful theatrical expression that communicates directly with the audience and captivates those who don't usually seek out the theater. We strive to offer theater experiences that everyone can afford, and that seek people out where they live – often in places where there isn't an extensive theater offering already. Many of our performances are therefore staged in unconventional locations, such as empty warehouses, backyards, gardens, and apartments. At the same time, we collaborate closely with other cultural actors and theater institutions across the country. Feil Teater performs approximately 300 shows annually for over 25,000 audience members.
